Perfect timing on Matt's part, he was emailing me to see if I had any cancellations just as my appointment was canceling.  So today he got two fun little traditional pieces.  Thanks again buddy!!!

6.11.13

Back on the blog with some exciting news!   For 13+ years I've attempted to do most aspects of my job as a one man show.  That's all well and good, but looking at the bigger picture, most of my idols in art are not one man shows.  They have one or sometimes even a team of people working behind the scenes.  So that's the decision we've made, and by we, I of course mean myself and lovely wife Teagan.  I feel I've taken the "one man show" thing as far as I can.  There are somethings I'm good at, there are some things I'm not so good at... so obvious solution is to get help and keep moving forward.

For the past few weeks, we've made the transition and Teagan has not only taken over all of the emails, but all of my bookings and scheduling as well.  I'm sure there will be a few mix ups along the was as with any changes in life, so we SUPER appreciate your patience and understanding during this time!

Personally, this has been one of the best changes to my life ever.  Teagan is heavily tattooed, she loves tattooing, she understands tattooing, and best of all, she completely understands what I love about tattooing.  So absolutely no explanations or hesitations required for me, she took off running and has sorted and fixed most of the mess that I created.  She also knows simple things like how long a sleeve takes, how much ribs suck, what will and won't age well over time, etc.... So again, absolutely perfect and extremely happy that she is helping me out now.  This takes a load of stress off of me and allows me to spend more time on drawings and paintings and hopefully things like updating the blog.  Life and work are definitely going in an extremely positive direction as far as I'm concerned. It takes a load off of my mind knowing that while I'm drawing, emails are not being neglected as they were before.

So please keep sending new requests for tattooing!  Emails will now be checked and replied to on a regular ( no... not hourly...) basis.  If you have existing work and require an appointment, send us and email to book in!  Because someone organized has taken over, bookings are now 2-3 months out.  Last time I checked Teagan was booking Aug/Sept for tattoo appointments.  I've never been booked that far out, again, because I've never been organized enough to be booked that far out.  Exciting stuff!

Say "Hi" to my lovely wife Teagan!  She's the best and working hard behind the scenes keeping things/me on track.   I can't thank her enough for doing so!!!
Now... I've finally backed up my phone and loaded 5000+ photos... lets see what we've got...

4.18.13

I know it's short notice as usual... but I had a bunch of random mid month cancellations, so I 'm heading out to Vancouver to work with my friends at SETCo to attempt to finish off a few older tattoos.  Because it's such sort notice, space was limited and is already fully booked up.

However, as always the word has gotten around and I've received numerous emails regarding setting up an appointment.  I would be more then happy to meet up with anyone for a consultation this time around as I will plan a second trip hopefully in June/July.

If you are interested in meeting up for a consultation, I'll be at the studio April 16-20th.  Consultations will be taken by appointment only.  To book, please click here and follow the instructions and please put "Vancouver" as the subject.  A deposit will be required at the time of the consultation.

Here's some new work from the last few weeks.  Thanks again for looking!

3.11.13

sometimes I miss my blog but I have a serious problem with time in my life right now... mainly that I don't have enough of it to do everything I want to do and still live a healthy life.  I'm working on it as I'm sure most of us are...

I really like this tattoo and the person it's on.  Whenever I think about updating my blog I think of this tattoo, so after 3 hours of answering emails today I decided to post it.

10.23.12

It's been a while, but what a month!  So busy, so much fun.  We had house guests, got tattooed, drove down to a family birthday, then up to the mountains for a vacation with new fiends, came home, worked, had house guests, worked, had guest artists and more house guests at the shop....  it's no wonder we're both exhausted.

During that madness, I unfortunately forgot to set up an auto reply for emails, letting people know that I'd be extremely busy this month and away from emails for the most part.  I know I have a lot of typing in my near future as I play catch up, so as you patiently wait for a reply here are a few photos from my favorite month of the year, OCTOBER!  As always, your patience is extremely appreciated, and these tattoos are in no particular order.
